Much of my work depicts nature. I have always felt drawn to nature and its mysterious and beautiful forms. These forms are a starting point to explore their potential symbolic meaning. In this ABSTRACT FOREST series, a part of my internal process is to strike a balance between structure and the purity of intuitive expression. The fields of paint that populate these abstract forests attempt to float, thrum and merge ethereally.
